Mens Urinary Artificial Sphincrer (AMS800)

Featured Replies

I am a 73 year old British man resident in Isaan.

Following prostate cancer 20 years ago I have needed an artificial sphincter which fails and needs replacing every 4 to 7 years.

I have always gone back to the UK to have this replaced.

Now the latest one has failed and I can't (or don't want to) go back to the UK.

I came across a closed post on here with a reply from Sheryl and I wonder if anyone has any further information or experience of this surgery in Thailand.

(I live 7 hours from Bangkok so travelling anywhere in Thailand is an option)

Check at Bumrungrad Hospital in  Bangkok.  If you can't get it done there then you probably won't be able to get it done anywhere in Thailand.
