Should drag him out now. He's bitter, furious, full of sour grapes, and slightly crazy. And he's still got the helm for another 2 months. He could start WW3 in that time. A good friend of mine who is a lawyer told me when a lawyer hands in his notice or is terminated from a law firm he/she is paid up and gone at the end of that day. They don't want someone working off a month or two notice because they can become mischievous and steal clients, do all sorts of damage.

Unfortunately he can't be physically removed until January 20.

The founders never imagined a president like him.

I can't really blame them.

He is now planning for rallies style campaign to challenge the election results. This is a volatile and incendiary strategy and can lead to wide scale unrest. I hope the GOP leaders will knock some sense to him and stop this attempt to incite his supporters.

He wants civil unrest, he will then invoke emergency powers, and set aside the election as there could be civil war.

It would obviously take a long time. 45s end game is provoke enough uncertainty and chaos to rationalize having Republican controlled legislatures send electors to vote the opposite of how their state voted. There is a remote chance that could happen. Its impossible to predict how the people would react to such an anti democracy outrage.

In case you're wondering yes that would be legal. Outrageous, not done, but legal and could.be done.

I saw a UK news headline: 'Pressure grows on Donald Trump to go quietly'.

For some reason it reminded me of Prawit and his medical emergency a year or so ago. I bet he didn't go quietly.

There are calls for him to be charged for solicitation to commit violence - 18 US Code Section 373. That will include Trump Jr. when he called for a total war.

At least one is under investigation for possible state charges. A president can't pardon for state crimes.

Its ok trump supporters. When you were young and your love broke your heart it was the end of the world.

Time heals the wounds. So you have 2 months to get over it and harden up.

Neither of the investigations by Manhattan DA Cy Vance nor NY Atty Gen Tish James have as yet produced any indictments of Trump or anybody else.  The AG's investigation is currently a civil matter, not a criminal one, James has said it may become a criminal investigation eventually.  Vance is already focused on crimes.

Don Jr. and Ivanka were about to be charged with real estate fraud around the marketing of the failed Trump Soho Hotel.  Following a timely bribe to DA Vance by Trump's lawyer Marc Kassowitz, instead of bringing charges Vance stopped the investigation.  Since the Trump spawn all have executive positions in the Trump Organization which has been involved in numerous illegal

In the spring of 2012, Donald Trump’s two eldest children, Ivanka Trump and Donald Trump Jr., found themselves in a precarious legal position. For two years, prosecutors in the Manhattan District Attorney’s office had been building a criminal case against them for misleading prospective buyers of units in the Trump SoHo, a hotel and condo development that was failing to sell. Despite the best efforts of the siblings’ defense team, the case had not gone away. An indictment seemed like a real possibility. The evidence included emails from the Trumps making clear that they were aware they were using inflated figures about how well the condos were selling to lure buyers.

Since the Trump spawn all have executive positions in the Trump Organization which has been involved in numerous illegal activities it is very likely that they have criminal exposure.

I seem to remember posters on here arguing for the exact thing after Trump won in 2016.

Ok. Then what crimes were you referring to their father pardoning them for?

It didn't happen.

The state legislature thing.

It wasn't a thing under discussion then.

What you're trying is a lame whataboutism tactic based on a blatant fabrication.

In my opinion an incredibly sleazy attempt at misinformation.

America is getting weirder and weirder. Mainstream media is now censoring Trump, on the basis he is making baseless allegations of electoral fraud, and inflaming his supporters.

Those same supporters are legally entitled to tote a semi-automatic weapon down the streets of the USA.

I think I have a headache.

No.

If 45 wants to have an announcement or another super spreader rally his incendiary words will be instantly broadcast globally. If that's censorship I'm the emporer of the United States and protector of Mexico (San Franciscans will get that).

Interesting that you believe that. The fixer is saying trump will go off to Mar largo at Christmas and never return to Washington.

Hopefully everybody agrees the election result must be seen as legitimate. Proper investigations into Trump's claims must be made, and fast. If, as he claims, there is enough fraudulent/irregular activities to swap tightly fought state results from Dem to GOP then he could be elected President. More than a few dozen instances of fraud then a full audit of every vote nationwide must be done to ascertain the scale of wrongdoing. After the Russia fiasco we know the left take alleged election interference seriously enough to waste many years over. A full audit now would only take a few days.

Nothing to hide, nothing to fear.

Anybody notice the false objectivity undergirding this statement? "Hopefully everybody agrees the election result must be seen as legitimate" What does that even mean? Seen by whom exactly? Some objective observer or observers? Seen by everybody? Mostly everybody? Must you personally be included among the people who see the election result as legitimate? Are we supposed to be concerned if people who, say, believe that Joe Biden had the Ukrainian prosecutor fired to protect his son don't believe the results? How about those who believe that there is an active Deep State conspiracy to undermine Donald Trump? Or believe that George Soros is paying antifa to riot? What evidence could there possibly be to satisfy such people? Given the belief in vast conspiracies that characterize so much of right wing thinking, why would anyone believe that any investigation that came up with any conclusion other than massive voter fraud would be believed by such adherents?

Not good enough. The poster above claimed the 6,000 vote "mistake" was a myth. Didn't happen. Called it an "Alledged" incident.

Yet here you claim it's already been investigated. But to whose satisfaction? and were there full investigations of every other country countrywide that used the same software? Why did I not read full reports into the investigation on CNN, MSNBC, Reuters, AP? How are posters still able to dub the incident a fallacy?

You can see the difference of opinion between two democrat supporters(6,000 vote switcheroo didn't happen at all vs happened but was fixed and all cool now), right? For the last time. Without exhaustive investigations into the fraud which Trump speaks of, Biden will never be legitimate.

FTR seeing the reaction to these issues, I want to see a full audit for each and every vote. Regardless of the media rage and how long it takes.

Why is the judgement of the "poster above" even relevant?

Given your criteria, sounds like those exhaustive investigations would go on for years. Who gets to be President in the meantime? "An audit for each and every vote" Really. That's unhinged.

You probably remember wrongly. The gripes were about the electoral college. But even if some posters here did question the honesty of the vote, it wasn't echoed by Democratic leaders and it certainly wasn't instigated by Hillary Clinton. The hypocrisy here is monumental. Trump supporters accused those who didn't vote for Trump of not accepting the results of the 2016 election. But there was no huge cry of fraud. Now we have Trump supporters doing exactly what they falsely accused Trump's opponents of doing.
