I (German) would like to come back to TH with my TH wife in about 4 weeks for a few months stay.  We own a house on Phuket.

Can anyone recommend an ASQ hotel in Bangkok or HKT with very good value for money?

Important for us is a spacious room, better (junior) suite and a good service.

Our budget is limited to about 160K THB for both of us together.

I have the list for all ASQ hotels in TH, but I am looking for good real experiences, either by your own or those of family members or friends who have been to an ASQ hotel.

Thanks already for recommendations.

There are threads on this forum discussing ASQ hotels...

The forum search engine doesn’t work very well, but if you google search <ASQ ThaiVisa.com> you will find some comments to read through.

The Movenpick seems to be a hotel which comes back with decent reports.

There are also facebook groups which have reviews.

I am in the Pullman G near Silom. It had good reviews and the fact that I could reserve it for a 5000 baht down payment was why I chose it. I have a suite and so far all good. Great service. Prompt response to any request on LINE app. Good food. I am sure you could get a suite for 2 for less than 160K baht.

Thanks a lot to @toolpush and @chilli42

After inquiry at Pullman G I received an ASQ offer:

"Excutive Suite (77 Sqm) (Double Occupancy): THB149,500Net.

Together with all the other good to very good (ASQ) ratings from Pullman G we will book there.

Thanks @toolpush especially for the valuable hint because of only 5% deposit before arrival. Another 5* hotel in Bangkok requires 100% deposit, which will be forfeited if you do not arrive.

Is Pullman G an exception in terms of the 5% deposit  (non-refundable, I presume) for a reservation?

At other ASQ places, one has to pay the total amount for the 15-day stay and would lose the payment if for reason.

chili42, does Anantara Riverside have a refundable deposit policy or you have to risk the whole payment? Thanks.

I'm looking for options too and for example Silver Palm ASQ looks like a good deal: 55sqm Superior Studio with large balcony for 45,000b. Sounds nearly too good to be true.

Also Divalux Resort and Spa behind Suvarnabhmi looks nice for the price.

Anyone have experience about these two?
