Rains Here - Ready To Plant

Featured Replies

I've asked before about exotic species and where to buy, but now I am reminded that the rains have arrived and it is time to plant ... something.

So, for now, I just need to know is there a large nursery in Phrae that sells tree stock? Mango, Orange, Lemon, Banana, etc.

Hi Altman, yes its a good time to plant something, something that doesnt need irrgation in the dry season if you dont have it? cant help you with a nusrery in your area, today the mrs bought 500 banana plants, collect monday, plant tuesday, they need a lot of water to start, but once establised, they do ok, although not so well in dry season, are you intending to sell produce or just for family use? the other trees you mentioned do take a few years to produce fruits,

Im sure if you put a bit more information on what your intentions on fruit growing are, eg, little or lots, im sure some of the top posters on here wil give you sound advice, Good Luck, Lickey.
