Sending Jewellery

Featured Replies

Hi.

can anyone advise as to whether they have sent items of value from Thailand to Australia. Who did you use, cost etc.

TIA.

No rush, trackable service from the Post Office. Speed use DHL. The latter is consideraby more expensive and the recipient will get charged also. In my experience.

Registered airmail for letters is now available from the Thai Post office. Not parcels though, but small packages probably OK. Tracking works in Thailand but may stop once entering Aus.

DHL has certain restrictions on sending jewellery and gemstones so best read the terms/conditions.

I send rings by Thai post registered airmail, mainly to the US, as one off items with low value. Never had a problem.
