Another thing that worried me was that someone was selling fireworks, and Thais were buying roman candles which shoot out a small burning 'light'.... Thais were letting their very young kids play with these and shoot out fire. Even adults get caught out by fireworks as I recall an Englishman getting killed on Soi Post Office by one... a little kid might want to look down one that seems to fail too.

At least the kids would be sober.  The drunk adults with fireworks are more dangerous, to themselves, and to innocent bystanders.

Well good news for the hotels at the beach front and restaurants

Properly not for the bars as most tourists will be Thai family's  from Bangkok etc

But positive news instead of negative reports we are used to reading about the Hotels.

Ect at least weekends

More 4 day holidays needed

Not sure which is worse but one automatically has more concern for the kids with reckless parents.

Anybody burned/injured/killed?
