PM orders natural borders to be strictly monitored to prevent illegal entries

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has ordered related officials to stop people from using natural borders to sneak into the country, Prateep Keeratirekha, the PM’s deputy secretary on political affairs, said on Wednesday.

New community-based route launched for post-Covid tourism

The government has unveiled a model tour for its community-based tourism policy tapping Thailand’s many canals and waterways. The model route is located in Ratchaburi, 80 kilometres west of Bangkok.

More than 200kg of fishing nets collected from Shark Point

PHUKET:-- More than 200 kilograms of fishing nets were collected from Shark Point, also called Hin Musang, off Koh Yao Yai, east of Phuket, in an underwater drive cleanup by Thais and foreigners yesterday (Dec 1).

Thailand plans $1.4 billion of additional stimulus to spur consumption

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand plans 43.5 billion baht ($1.44 billion) of additional stimulus to boost domestic consumption and an increase in benefits for local travel, officials said on Wednesday, as the government tries to revive a flagging, pandemic-hit economy.
