The act of union specifically states that ALL parts of the UK should be subject to the same trade tariffs and taxes.

Northern Ireland will no longer be part of that arrangement.

I guess this could be viewed two ways.... The UK are edging towards a deal and are starting play ball/make concessions......or.......they know they are not going to do a deal in which case make a load of concessions, make themselves look good (oh we tried so hard) and then walk away blaming the EU.

Oh how I wish that the rest of your grasping and vindictive compatriots would agree to your proposals. Unfortunately they still want us, our money and our fish. I'm afraid you won't be getting all of that.

You can make up all the rules you like about business in the EU, but they're all on your side of the border. Most of us don't have that much to export to the EU, so no worries. You get absolutely no say about anything that goes on within the UK though, which is what really gets up the noses of your EU masters and is the cause of the current impasse.

 

No sure why you usually raise the schengen visa and international driving licence as your major penalties though. They are just not that important. Is it something you had a brush with the law in UK?
