Duo Pacemaker - has anyone had one fitted and what restrictions on exercise

Featured Replies

I will be having a duo pacemaker fitted on Tuesday 15th December at Queen Sirikit Heart Centre in Khon Kaen as I have a heart block.
I would be interested in hearing from others who have had such a pacemaker fitted and what restrictions it put on their normal daily life or exercise routine.
I am right handed so perhaps that will be easier.

As I live alone I am used to doing things myself and, it caused some issues after a cataract operation earlier in the year, ( try keeping you eye movement limited or not lifting water bottles ( 5 litre ) for a month ), it ain't easy!

I do yoga floor exercises in order to keep my body supple following loss of most of my body muscle caused by a stroke and complications 3 years ago.

The exercises include some of my own "design" to help maintain body balance and form, these include full body stretches.

Of course I will discuss with the surgeon
