It's great to see America has come to its senses. After January 20, my guess is Trump is going to make quite a few lawyers rich in his fight to stay out of prison.

Except that he never pays. So they will be kept busy in fighting for him, but getting rich???

Stepped down. Seems more like he had some help down the stairs.

Sad that I believe trump will try to either infect Biden with Covid 19 or find a way to remove him permanently. Sore loser that he is.

No self respecting attorney will go near 45. He has a history of stiffing his employees.

Which is why against all precedent the Justice Dept stepped in to defend Trump in the rape cause being brought against him. Because taxpayers pay its lawyers.

I think you are spot on trumps going to do something mr Barr wants no part of and he’s trying to salvage what he can of his reputation to late imo I haven’t forgotten what he did during the muller report

You are absolutely right IMO, This resignation was  very strange, given the farcical  "Dear leader" letter of resignation, and the reason for resigning,  Who was stopping him from spending Christmas with his family ? especially  since his resignation is effective Dec 23,

There is some speculation that Barr has resigned in anticipation of undesirably  being associated with some further indefensible antics  from Trump.

Perhaps that  might be as puerile as Trump requesting the  Federal US  Attorney General to assist in suing Time  magazine for  not  naming him "Person of the  Year" ?????

Probably  not  but  as good as any excuse  to  get  out !

Or because

Prominent German news magazine Der Spiegel on Thursday named President Trump its “loser of the year,” the same day Time magazine named President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris its “Person of the Year.”

Serious question, I'm not an American so I have no knowledge of their laws - is that possible?  What would his intention be? To negate the election result?  If it is possible, would he not have to get a ruling in favour from the Supreme Court?

The next important date is January  six ! The process(contesting in court) from beginning has been legal!  This isn't the first time in my country history that a election has been contested ! Some possible scenarios below

It's been legal And  60 defeats in the courts against 1 minor victory means it's also been frivolous. If if the people who have been waging this legal war couldn't recognize how weak this cause was from the start, they're incompetent. And if they did recognize it, that means they're worse.

The process has been legal, but with the rhetoric and the from the beginning losing cause as divisive as possible.

IMO it is all a fund raising scheme. He knows there is no chance of reversing Biden's election, but it keeps the idiots sending him money , I read that he has raised $170 millions.

40% of which can be donated to other republican congressman and senators. Why do you think they are all playing along, they have re-elections and they don't want him hunding their opponent. ' He also has a lot of litigation coming his way after he leaves office. It ain't going to be cheap.

I never liked Barr, and I still think he needed thicker eye glasses to see the truth ,as he could never see the truth that was  in front of his nose. There are numerous things he fail to see, Hunter Biden and problems with the Election are only a few.

Riiiiight. Barr, trump's lapdog, with all the investigative powers of the DOJ at his disposal could not find any signs of the Great Election Conspiracy because.......help me out here!!

I know you will be all kind and thoughtful for the Trump supporters in the forum, they are now in a period of mourning, still in the denial stage, but they will make it through to acceptance in the next 4 years.

If you think they have it bad now wait another 4 years until trump gets beaten, running from his jail cell (no pun intended), by President Elect Kamala Harris and Vice President Elect Hillary Rodham Clinton!????

Nonsense. Just because several Republican Senators have said they won't support rejecting the electoral college vote and in the House the majority of members are Democrats, you think that means something? Anyway, General Flynn is 100% sure that Trump is going to win.

Hunter Biden so far is just a conspiracy theory. There were no significant problems with the elections.

So far?

No significant problems?

What are you talking about?

Hunter's laptop was debunked, nothing more than a Russian miss information campaign!

And it was the most secure election in history!

Sounds familiar.  Now where have I heard military types before saying that a coup is impossible?

To their credit though, the U.S. military doesn't have a history of staging coups. They do have a long and proud history of upholding the constitution.

So unlike with the military types you have in mind from "elsewhere", I'm prepared to take their word for it.

There are losers, sore losers, bad losers, then there is Donald Trump a loser in his

own special category of loser.  Shameful.

Of course they didn't like Barr, he didn't do enough to protect the president: Durham was too slow, election fraud was deemed to not be present, Trump is still under state investigation.

Much like James Comey, who won the election for Trump by re-opening the Clinton email investigation days before the vote but wouldn't pledge loyalty to Trump.  Or Jeff Sessions, who aggressively pursued and promoted everything in Trump's agenda he had the power to but recused himself (as he should have) from the Russian investigation.

Trump has no use for honorable men.  Neither do Trump's supporters.

Don't be fooled by the uniforms.  There are not enough words to describe the differences between the Thai military and the US military.

You really hope that a clear victory in an honestly run election can be overturned.

I'm not surprised.  The reaction of many expats to the 2014 coup made it clear to me that a great many people only support democracy when their side wins.

Hey, no need for the exclamation marks - I did say it was a serious question.

Probably right for now, but keep in mind General (ret.) Mike Flynn has publicly called for Trump to declare martial law and have the military do a "revote."  That may be just a fluke in American history or it may be the beginning of a new and not-so-proud history of attacking the Constitution by the military.

Troll post and reply removed.
