The next critical date in this fiasco is 6th Jan. With your track record in calling foreign elections i'm not altogether surprised that you learned nothing from the utter drumming you and your ilk received a year ago...

As a fellow Ponti on this occasion I wish Trump and the USA all the best & I hope their constitution rescues this situation as intended.

President Elect Biden crushed trump and his ilk in the election and all his base supporters are doing now is bleeting sulky nonsense.

America is a failed state. And over 70,000,000 million Americans wanted 4 more years of Trump. Pathetic!

Trump gets 306 in 2016  and its a landslide. Trump doesn't get 306 in 2020 and throws his toys out of the crib.

He really is an embarrassment.

Wake up and smell the reality.

It's over.

It was over long ago.

Mr. Trump is an excellent propagandist, but truth is still truth.

There is no middle ground between fact and fiction on the election results

AS PRESIDENT Trump continues to lie about last month’s election, national Republican leaders are trying to stake out what they imagine as a middle ground: While Joe Biden is the president-elect, the 2020 election was marred by substantial fraud and election irregularities. In fact, this is also a lie, and their dishonesty damages U.S. democracy.

The US-UK FTA would have amounted to next to nothing anyway. Get over it.

Well, I guess this is truly the end. Two pages in, and not even one cult member has bothered to float the idea that "this is the big one" that will overturn the election. Sad!

Finally there on page 3. Just the one though.

I am really afraid of what he will try next. It seems calling in the military and forcing an re-election is considered an option to him.

trump can consider all he wants, it still won’t happen.

Who among us read how dumbfounded his supporters here on TVF mocking Biden as a fool for thinking trump would not concede

A Brexit fan AND a TRump fan.

Who would have guessed ????

Since Trump always cares so much about his image, you would think he would have dropped this nonsense by now since he is seen by so many as a total laughingstock and poor loser.   I guess, as some have already said, he wants those contributions to continue to come in since it's easy money with apparently few strings on how he can use it.

I'm really in 2 minds what this is all about. Obviously he knows he can't win any of these frivilous lawsuits and I know many think he is persisting purely for the financial gain, but I can't see that as being the main game. I think (and happy to be argued) there is a bigger play going on here which has everyrthing to do with amnesty.

Perhaps he knows if he is seen to drag down the deomcratic pricipals of America so low as to even frighten a sycophantic GOP, he has more leverage when the inevitable criminal charges start coming.

Or he could just be as dumb as a box of frogs. It's 50:50.

No...the military is a defined constitutional force-just as it is in the UK(parliament)and in Canada,Australia and New Zealand.

There will be no subverting of the US elections by armed force..Mr Trump will be escorted off the property by Boy Scouts,Girl Guides  and Navy Seal Team Six he will then retire to manage a MacDonald's franchise in Palooka,Arizona where his customers will describe him as "happy-but slightly deranged"...

Surely you're joking.  Trump has already pulled in $250 million dollars from this scam since Nov. 3, which is the best return he has ever got from any business.

Have you ever read the US Constitution?  This is the only reference to the military in the whole document:

The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, Article II, Section 1.

It appears President Trump has decided to exhaust all legal, non-violent remedies before proceeding into uncharted territory.

His urging state election officials to violate election law in various ways is itself a felony just as was his attempt to bribe a foreign government into assisting his re-election campaign.

To begin with.

I love the wild guesses.

Incidentally, I called the subject election ‘bang on’.

I just read a report where 45 stated to aides he plans on staying after the 20th. All sentient beings with the capability of critical thinking know this to be just one more lie, but I really would pay good money to see the FBI escorting a trespasser off the White House grounds.

Please provide a link to the report you just read.

Which section, making no reference of any kind to the US military can hardly be evidence to support the claim that the military is "defined" by the Constitution as the other poster claimed.

Yes I have.

The US military will not subvert a constitutional order.

Mr Biden is now the President elect and will assume office on the appointed time as per the Constitution.

Mr Trump will depart.

I'll try to find the article I read about this.  But here's a link to the section in the constitution.

Actually he figured out a way to pay for it

https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-trump-fundraising-insigh-idUSKBN27R309

When he is back to being a private citizen, going around on his own jet and spending his days playing golf, are these fools going to keep sending him money?

Maybe at his rallies they will literally pass the hat.

Seems he does not even have a permanent home any more. Malania wants Florida, the Club does not want him, NYC does not want him, may have to go stay with Ivanka and Jared. Will he be able to continue leasing the jets?

Just wondering it states "the campaign" is lodgeing the bid with SCOTUS, wonder do they need Trumps consent to make the filing?

Perhaps this is a way to make him look so much more foolish in the eyes of many and the courts, he will have no chance of offical support for any future polical endeavours?

Burying him once and for all?
