Motorbike Thieves Arrested

Two men were taken into Pattaya Police Station at 2.45 am on 8th May. Reporters found that the men were detained for motorbike theft.

Earlier the Pattaya Police officers found 20 year old Phongsakorn driving a Mio motorbike with no registration plate so called the man to stop and investigated. The bike key hole was damaged therefore he was questioned further. They discovered that the man had just been released from prison and the bike had been stolen 2 days earlier as the owner made a report at Dongtan Sub-Station.

The police escorted the man to his room to make a search and lo and behold they found 2 Honda Wave motorbikes and another suspect, Wisut, aged 20, sleeping inside. One of the Honda Waves was stolen from Sophon Market, South Pattaya on 29th April and the other from Rong-Poh Market since the 19th April. Phongsakorn admitted to the police that he stole the motorbikes with the help of this friend therefore both were arrested.

Both men were charged for stealing 3 motorbikes and will undoubtedly face a long period in prison.
