Hey, Trump is only giving Raffensperger a chance to come clean.  And giving him fair warning, rightly so, that there will be consequences for not doing so.  From the conclusions others have drawn from this phone call it seems they must have had the audio playing backwards.

To come clean on what?  Running an honest, legal election?

What makes you say that?  Because Trump calls a spade a spade?  A lot of people find that refreshing.  Beats some prissy, well dressed, coiffured, politically correct mannequin saying what everyone wants to hear all the while lying through his teeth.  Different strokes for different folks.

Can you give a refreshing example of Trump calling "a spade a spade"?  I can't think of any.

Or some folks simply interpret everything to fit their ideas of reality.  That's a very real potential explanation.  Although two opposing views can't both be correct.  Therefore someone must be seeing reality as it really is and the other must be, well, biased.

Heres a clue. Trump lost. Are u ok?

I KNOW I shouldn't take the bait (45 supporters aren't REALLY interested in facts, they merely want us to waste our time) but I have a few minutes to remind anyone capable of critical thinking what 45 did:

For Trump to have violated this law you would need to prove his claims are false.  Making a claim is not in and of itself a violation of law.  So you're not dealing in immutable facts but merely your own opinion as to what the facts are according to your own interpretation and assumptions of said facts.  And you're not even willing to look at all of the facts.  Nice try, J Town, but I think you're trying to waste my time.

It has nothing to do with the factuality of his claims. It's about what he's asking for and how he's asking.

I would tend to think that Trump has to prove his claims are true, rather than the people he accuses proving they are false.

Maybe not such an upset. He didn't win by much last time and Texas is already turning purple.

Agree it's a long shot, but a long shot is better than no shot.

Cruz suspects the election was stolen, that there is no way Biden could have won, but what can be done?

For now, this is all Cruz has, a long shot.

Let's hope he makes it!

I doubt he suspects it. He's too smart for that.

It sure seems that way for trump. Maybe that's why he lies incessantly.

You mean in the same way trump's team of legal geniuses waste the time of the courts with inane lawsuits?

Rubbish. cruz doesn't suspect the election was stolen. The only thing he's doing is playing to trump's base to line himself up for another presidential bid. That's all he's doing.

Of all the vile swamp creatures cruz is easily on the top/bottom 10 list.

There have been over 60 court cases, adjudicated by every stripe of judge and every level unto the Supreme Court.  They all declared this obstructionist desire for power is pointless.  These idiots need to wake up.  They lost. Go home.  Learn from sports players.  If you lost a match, then you lost a match.  Refusing to leave the field proves nothing but obstinate pig-headedness..

Isn't Scotland a socialist country? How can Republicans think this guy is patriotic in any way?

Socialism is an economic model. The Scottish government does not own the means of production.  Of course, the doozy dumb version from the GOP that any government usage of taxes collected from the citizens that is used to directly benefit the citizens is some threat to capitalism, is socialism--and which it never was..

If your favorite sports team went 1 and 61, you would want the coach fired.  So why do trump supporters continue to support someone who is 1-61 for court cases?  Rhetorical.

Uh-huh.

Reminiscent of the way a former Thai PM under criminal investigation went to the Beijing Olympics in 2008.  And never came back.

We can only hope.

Let's see how long it takes to file the extradition requests.

It's called sedition and these members of congress should be charged with such.  Sad you don't understand the problems this is causing.  And sad some still believe in this fantasy.  Insane.

When they are actually be referred to as The Sedition Caucus it means whatever they thought they were clandestinely attempting is out in the open.  Don't they realize that?

Patriots don't do sedition, or don't these bozos know this?  Same way saying you believe in law & order is making a fool of yourself when you condemn the rules.  And nearly half the voters in the country don't get that either.

they are all pandering to Trump's base to help their political futures.  Screw the American people, they just want to get into politics and make money.  Sad many members of the GOP are blind to this.

Not entirely sure what your point is here.

Firstly, Scotland isn't a purely socialist country but like most of the UK (and most of the rest of the Western world) adopts certain socialist policies that benefit it's citizens. Free health care is probably the most different from the USA but in all other respects it's pretty much the same. It always amazes me when people talk about things like a 'socialist country' when in fact all of their socialist policies are almost exactly the same as America (with the VERY obvious exception).

My point was to American rightwingers the whole world is basically socialist so they are hypocrites.

Consider the logistics: if the plane drops him off in Scotland how does he move on?  Maybe Putin sends his private jet?  Has the jet he used to go around in been sold, or been in mothballs these past 4 years?
