Buddy's Bar by Soi 20 has or had a pub-like feel to it.

Chequers a classic expat bar.

Bus Stop an affordable option if you don't need aircon

The Old Other Office, a must see bar unique in Patpong.

Crown Royal lovely old style Patpong hostelry, take the family during the day as the ladies don't start till 6 pm.

I have'nt been to Bangkok for ages,     is "Thermae caf'e"  & the "Beer garden" still operating?? in Nana & Asoke areas  pre covid of course??

Thermae's signage still is up. Not been inside in decades. Beer Garden on 7 is now nothing more than a beer bar in a complex indistinguishable from the other dozen that share a roof. Last check the complex still charges b10 to use the toilet. They might have tokens I don't know and I don't care. I'm not paying b10 to bleed my lizard. You go into a restaurant and expect to pay b10 baht after paying for food and drink?

I think there are 5 now but the one down the line on Soi 89 is great.

One on Sukhumvit near soi 8 and another on 22. I've only eaten there once (years ago) simply not paying over b200 for a burger. That's Thai food, a happy hour and b30 for transport home. It's pub grub.
