I’m not sure how you’d go about ‘jailing a Government’.

Voting them out is the usual means means to punish them.

The French had a plan...

And to this day, the French government is still afraid of the people.  That's the way it should be.  In the US, the people are afraid of the government.

Vote 'em out and they just go onto lucrative lobbying and speaking gigs.

Where do you stop?  Who decides what law to follow and what to ignore?

In Mr Assange's case he believes that he does.

That rather is the root cause of his present situation.

It is what can (often) happen when people believe that they are "special".

Good example.

So the accused went before the court and the court passed down a verdict.

That’s how the justice system works.

No court is going to give a fugitive ‘time served’ for the time he spent hiding from justice.

He is not a fugitive. He is in jail. Yes all courts give time served for time held without bail,

He is still a rapist. Don´t forget that. I wonder what he´s wife and kids thinks about that.

Well thats just a stupid comment.

Rape means different things. In sweden it means if u dont wear condom, even if sex is consual.

but he was never convicted of it, so no, not a rapist.

Assange has just been denied bail.

I dont blame them. Further bail will be requested. Was always going to higher court for that.

Yes before the court, but a person has every right in law to try not to.

or do you refuse hat right of law.

Now THAT is a stupid comment! Were have you hear that? Totally wrong about your condom and consual sex comment. This is what I call a very stupid, fake comment from someone with no knowledge at all of the Swedish law. Totally not true.

He was not convicted because he hide out on the embassy and the Swedish government did not want to spend more money on the case. He is still a rapist and for that he should be convicted. But It is to late for that. I happens to know one of the girls he raped...

That's a silly statement. If that was true there would be few children being born in Sweden and the ones that were would be children of rape victims.????

Come on.  So you say it's OK for anyone accused of a crime to flee to a foreign country and seek shelter in a foreign embassy?  Seriously?

Man up, deal with the charges, and move on.  He'd be past this by now.  Similar to Ms. Chelsea.

He's been indicted, it's a legal indictment, he needs to address it.  Not hide in an embassy with his cat.
