Chiang Mai University goes green with 40 new electric buses

Chiang Mai University on Sunday rolled out 40 new electric buses, bought at a cost of over Bt50 million. These buses will be used instead of the old electric buses, which had provided services to 5.7 million people.

Outspoken academic blames “COVID mafia” for second wave of COVID-19

In his post on www.thaipost.net on Sunday, former Thammasat University lecturer Kaewsan Atipothi claimed that the first wave of COVID-19 last year was the result of globalization and Thailand’s “close contact with the international community”, but the second wave, currently spreading across the country, is the product of so-called “COVID mafia”.

Bangkok continues screening measures for inter-provincial travel

BANGKOK (NNT) - Bangkok city hall is now screening people traveling into the capital as part of the attempt to contain the spread of COVID-19. Road checkpoints have been set up to temperature screen drivers and passengers, with anyone having a fever being transferred to a hospital for further checks.

SSO starts proactive COVID-19 testing among workers

The Social Security Office has now approved a new guideline, allowing workers to receive proactive COVID-19 screening, which requires only 3 hours of waiting time to receive their results.

Britain records 54,940 new COVID-19 cases and 563 deaths on Sunday
