Looking to start new policy with Pacific Cross.  Do not have and serious illness accept Gout for which I take one tablet of Allopurinol daily. Need to go through health check up before policy comments. Please recommend hospital and costs ? For my minor and dentist work I normally use Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. Also I read in policy terms that it covers 90 days abroad which is very important for me as I go to UK regularly but it says claim accepted only by case by case basis with no guarantee of acceptance. Am puzzled by this,  Is it worth it specially it costs around 70000 THB yearly premium and from next year it will be more as age group will be 70+. My concern is if am in UK/Europe and they do not accept claim ? Please comment

experience, advice on the issue. Many thanks in advance.

Which Pacific Cross policy are you looking at, they have several?

And are you doing this on your own or through a broker? Should definitely go through a broker, not only can they share experiences with each policy but they will help with any issues that arise later over claims.

Also - very important - do yo uneed to meet O-A visa requirements? that is a very important poibnt because if nto you could look at other internationally issued policies such as Cigna or Cigna Close Care.

Wouldn't you be covered under NHS in UK?

Well am looking at Pacific Cross MAXIMA through  a broker. Yes I will be covered by NHS in UK but am looking from a point that in case there is surgery to be done while in UK and if there is waiting period Q at NHS than how to use this policy specially when it says not guaranteed and checked on case by case basis. NO I do not require for Immigration as I have Retirement Extension O. I want to take cover as I will be 70 now just for peace of mind and specially as I stay on my own. I looked at CIGMA but premium quoted was very high.
