webfact Posted January 17, 2021 Share Posted January 17, 2021 320 new COVID-19 cases found in Samut Sakhon on Sunday afternoon Samut Sakhon province recorded another 320 new COVID-19 cases late Sunday afternoon, pushing total infections in the province, since December 17th, to 4,359. According to the provincial health office, of the new cases, 269 were found through pro-active screening and all are Myanmar migrant workers. 51 cases were diagnosed in hospital, including eight Thais. Pro-active screening in the community is about 50% complete. There are still about 900 people at high-risk, in the central shrimp market community and the Sri Muang dormitory, who are to be tested next week.
