Twenty people, including 18 employees of a factory in the Bang Bor-Bang Phli industrial zone in Samut Prakan, were been found to be infected with COVID-19 on Saturday.

Samut Prakan provincial health office’s Facebook post said 18 cases were found through pro-active screening, with one arrival from Malaysia in state quarantine and another who was reported to be in close contact with an infected person.

All of them are asymptomatic.

Why are the number of people tested during the pro-active screening that resulted in those 20 cases (all asymptomatic) never mentioned in these articles?

It makes an enormous difference if 200, 2.000 or 20.000 people were tested.

The article does mention that 18 of those asymptomatic cases came from one factory, so it should not be so difficult to determine how many people worked there and were tested.

And of course, it's important to do 'follow-up' to determine whether those asymptomatic cases, developed symptoms later and whether those symptoms were so severe that hospitalization was needed.

Without this back-ground context, just mentioning the number of 'positive cases' that were found, is useless and only opens the door for speculation.

These 20 new cases in Samut Prakan have not been reported in the CCSA briefing yesterday or the one this morning?
