PHUKET:-- Phuket Governor Narong Woonciew has urged all independent business operators on the island to register to take payments under the Rao Chana (We Win) government subsidy campaign that grants registered citizens B3,500 a month for two consecutive months to help ease financial hardship during the current economic crisis.

PHUKET:-- Leading Phuket tourism and hospitality figures have revealed their plan to secure COVID-19 vaccinations independently in the hope of re-opening the island to tourism from Oct 1, as economic experts warn that Phuket people’s incomes are plunging below the national poverty line.

Sony’s global recorded music operation (Sony Music) saw its annual streaming revenues jump by 19.5%, or nearly half a billion US dollars (+$467m), in calendar 2020.
