Wanted: Ais Forward To Voicemail Codes?

Featured Replies

Using AIS and MobileLife

Does anyone know what codes you type on the phones keypads to do the following?

1) Forward to Voice Mail (VM) if no answer?

2) Forward to VM if line is busy?

3) Forward to VM if out of range of reception or phone is turned off?

Also in addtion:

4) How to set your phone to forward to another cell phone?

(Question: when this is forwarded does it just forward voice calls or SMS messages also?)

Thanks, KhunIT

Generally it is best to contact AIS/Mobilelife/1-2-Call directly to get the latest details. Call from your mobile, 1175, and press 2 for an English-language CSR, or send email to [email protected] as they are incredibly accurate, timely and responsive.

Provided you have voice-mail set-up I've found it successful to forward to 90099. Your phone should offer the options for call divert based on busy, no answer, out of service etc. I assume you could use an 08n nnn nnnn number as the forward number but this would require confirmation from AIS and/or experimentation on your part.

I do not believe SMSes can be forwarded. They should be delivered regardless of diverts or when you switch your phone on, but they may not hold them in queue for more than a prescribed time-period (say a few hours?).

Again, put together all your questions and email them, I guarantee you will get more than enough information back. Be sure to share it here.
