BoogeeMaster
Hello All, I've taught English to many different levels of students (3 - 60 years of age) since 2003. Kindergarten is definitely my favorite age group! What is it like to find a kindy job in Thailand if I'm 57 years of age? They told me I 'm too old in Taipei. 2112
Hello BoogeeMaster, I have zero experience teaching at other than classroom University level, but my nephew has had success teaching Chinese kids in the 3 to 6 year group using online tools. I cannot recall the site, but if you’re interested let me know and I will get the information from him.
tonray
In the classroom setting...far more likely to get a job teaching kindergarten if female. An older male woould not likely be in a good position to secure that job...but high school teaching certainly an option.

CrunchWrapSupreme
Yes, they almost always want young women for kindergarten. But you would do well at the lower primary levels. They are practically still kindergarteners. In my school we have older males and females teaching them. There is high demand at this level, we've had our primary teachers covering additional classes, given the continued restrictions on incoming foreigners. Are you already in Thailand? Don't bother with the government schools, your experience should land you a mid-level private school, or maybe even an international school. Cheers.
