Thailand has reported another significant fall in the number of new COVID-19 infections.

On Tuesday, Thailand’s Centre for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) reported just 72 new infections.

The majority of the new cases  (48) were found during proactive testing, while 21 cases were discovered from so-called “walk-ins”, from people reporting to hospital. Three cases were imported from people entering quarantine.

The CCSA also reported that 680 people were discharged from hospital having made a full recovery.

1,141 people remain in hospital or held in a migrant worker quarantine centre.

Tuesday’s cases bring the total number of COVID-19 infections in Thailand to 24,786 with 82 deaths.

Could be all true I guess.

Let's see what happens over the next few weeks post CNY.

I was in Bang Saen over the weekend 1000's of people clustered at the beach never seen anything like it there.

The beach road was down to one lane people triple parked.  In the evening, restaurants were packed.

no need to test the slave labor anymore, deemed too expensive

Test all expats and make them pay for it would be cheaper... or actually profitable, if overcharged, or using shoddy tests that show false positives, and you can forcefully send them off to hospitals for "resting" with diet food, this could prove to be extremely profitable. Should we give a hint to Anutin?

Probably mostly Bangkokians fleeing the silly lockdown measures in the capital. Totally counter productive.
