Hi all

Im not sure if this should be here or in the gardening section.

I have an outbreak of white fungi stuff on my papapya trees Chilli trees and some other flowering trees in the garden ,most of the leafs have fallen off and trees look very sick ,they have gone from healthy and strong to a real mess in under a 10 days.

The bark/trunks have white patches (raised all over,)The leafs curl up and go spotty bright white to.

We have had overcast weather for approx 3 wks .

Has anybody any ideas what this is?

Are there any home remidies for this type of stuff.?

I have invested hoursdays weeks in the garden and right now im concerned that its all going to go to mould.

Thanks

Its hard to diagnose without a photo, could you possibly post some (inparticular I would like to see the symptons of the chilles if possible). Its sound fairly advanced and you may have secondary infections of more than one disease now.

Get some Syngenta "SCORE" - unlike a lot of the Sygneta stuff which is often not easily obtained in Thailand, SCORE is commonly avalible and is a brillaint broadspecturm systemic fungacide that will stop bio development of just about any type of sterol on and in plant membrane. Though not made for corn, I have used it on corn very successfully.

Is abosrbed super quick - garuntee it wil lclearthat up for you - very cost effective.

Failing that you should be looking for a fungacide that has a compound called Difenoconazole as the active ingredient (I think I have the spelling right).
