Way out of date. Spain has said on several occasions it would not veto a Scotland entry to the EU.

There are rules which applied to the UK joining the EU related to inflation etc and Scotland can not meet the requirements. If you want to fall asleep quickly you can look up the requirements online.

Remember, too, that most historians agree that the bagpipes originated in the Middle East.

BTW, the Young brothers were also born in Scotland, but, as did Scott, they consider themselves Australian.

Therefore you must be able to at the very least say what those requirements are and why you believe Scotland wont be able to meet them.

I think he is probably confusing the requirements to join the Euro-Zone with those to join the EU.  (to join the Euro-Zone you have to have become a member of the EU first - so those additional requirements would not be needed to join the EU). 

To join the EU you must meet the 'Copenhagen criteria'...

    - stable institutions guaranteeing democracy, the rule of law, human rights and respect for and protection of minorities;
    - a functioning market economy and the capacity to cope with competition and market forces in the EU;
    - the ability to take on and implement effectively the obligations of membership, including adherence to the aims of political, economic and monetary union.

Last year I did look them up but I dont consider them very important at least not to me so I dont bother recording them or remembering them. If I want them I will go on the internet and look them up.

There is no separate data for Scottish inflation per se, but UK inflation, which broadly applies to the entire British Isles is currently around 0.7%. 

Can we assume that you are somewhat out of your depth with this one?
