I have just put my Prestige 630-C ADSL driver for modem on my new PC and entered

TOT goldcyber username and password.

The DSL connection light popped up ok, so I am connected, but I keep getting the above error message. Does anyone have any ideas what I can do so I can get online?

I have checked all the settings for the modem against the ones on my laptop and they are the same, and I can get on line with my laptop 1st time?

Thanks for any help

My province is Surathani.

From TOT site ,it said like It was the time to fixe DNS for more efficiency for goldcyber and totgoldbiz.

For DNS setting.

STart>setting >control panel >network and internet connection>network connection

RIGHT CLICK with the modem icon >property

at the "networking" tab

Click Property

anyway,You had better call 1100.I think The customer service can explain more clearly.

I hope you can fix your net 's problem soon.

PS.I love my ex bf sometimes, he makes me know how to help myself.

Just called TOT and they said they will get back to me...

Can anyone tell me how to view my password for the interent dial up box? All I can

see is black dots. The IT lad entered it a long time ago when he installed the ADSL in our house.

This may be where the problem lies, so I want to view the password.

Thanks

For the password,I think you can call and ask from call center -technician support.

I'm in Bkk and use TRUE hisp. I once had a problem with my password so i called and ask them. They will ask you some personal information such as ID card number .

At last I got it working. The problem was with the virtual circuit identifier (VCI) in protocol setup.

It was on 35, and I was told to change it to 32 and it worked straight away.

Thanks BambinA for yer help with this.
