rooster59
Health Ministry will resume AstraZeneca vaccination next week Thailand’s Disease Control Department has assured that the AstraZeneca vaccine does not cause an increased risk of blood clots and inoculations will resume next week, after their suspension on Friday. The department’s director-general, Dr. Opas Karnkawinpong, said Saturday that the European Medicines Agency had investigated reports of blood clots in some recipients of the AstraZeneca vaccine and found that the vaccine does not increase the risk. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha and his cabinet ministers, who were to be vaccinated on Friday, postponed the plan after the Public Health Ministry decided to suspend the use of AstraZeneca’s vaccine. Popular Post Thaiophil
“He assured that the Ministry of Public Health will still achieve its target of administering 63 million doses of vaccine to Thai people within this year.” They are still sticking to the claim they can deliver 10m vaccines a month starting June. Guess they’ve been tapping into the medical ganja supplies...

ukrules
Many countries are making this same mistake and tens of thousands of people are having delayed vaccinations. The safety data is in already, these idiots (some European advisors) are publicly panicking and withholding vaccination from millions and their actions are being taken seriously by other countries when they should be ignored as it's a kind of hysteria. The roll out of the vaccination is inevitable, there should be no delays for anything. People in the position to affect these things should never panic, if they do then they're not suitable for the job.
