My question is....will all the nutters who constantly cry "manipulation" come out and claim the same when the baht weakens?

No, it's just normal market forces asserting themselves.

Looks like the USD broke through the 33.94 high and could hit 34 at any moment.

Where are you getting that rate in Thailand?

 

$N.Z. still weakening now only 22.78 not so long ago was 24 to the Thai Bhat, just in time for high season I think not to Thailand.

 

Ok if you can get into N.Z. for a holiday with the N.Z. weakening with your currency.
