seajae
does anyone know the regulations regarding what times factories can operate, we have a bitumen plant about 60 meters away from us that was built last year between 2 rubber tree farms, in the last couple of weeks they have started running it on weekends as well as from midnight till the following afternoon most days. They do not have any fences around it to stop most of the noise so we cop it at all hours night and day, if they had a fence it would reduce the noise levels a lot(but obviously they didnt want to spend the money to do it) so we need to find out if they are operating outside the allowed times/days and if they need to put up a wall(if specified by law) before we take any action. Does anyone knows if this is allowed(by law) and not just someone that has done it without the proper authority I would appreciate it

Surelynot
There was a thread yesterday on a similar problem....a clothes factory......the guy eventually had it restricted to 'normal' working hours......search needed.
