Belgian 80, Attacked and Robbed by Teenage Gang on Christmas Day in Pattaya
Nearly killed the man in the so-called "Land of Smiles." This is beyond brutal and inhumane. The thought that a group of unprovoked teenagers in Thailand would stab an elderly foreigner nearly to death just for a bit of cash is beyond comprehension. It's disturbingly reminiscent of the dark era in the United States during the 1980s, when elderly individuals were regularly mugged, stabbed and often killed in major cities for the small amount of money in their wallets. An incident of this severity in Pattaya raises serious questions about whether it even remains a safe destination for retirees. It also prompts a deeper reflection on whether there's something fundamentally broken in the fabric of society and on a wider scale when teenagers resort to such savage acts. -

Still love your Country?
That's a fairly easy question to answer, in my particular case I am from the US and I go back to visit two to three times a year, and I'm always shocked at how expensive things are, how dour most people are, how humorous they are and in the case of a lot of my friends and family they seem to be leading decent lives but they don't seem to be that fulfilled and it seems to be mostly a focus on eating, sleeping and making money. If you're single and you're over 50 that compounds the problem infinitely. And if you don't own a property that's paid for forget about it if you have to rent or pay a mortgage it's just insane. Adding healthcare cost and other things like that and it's no wonder the CEOs of those companies are getting gunned down. -

unlimited land border crossings
It seems to be your inability to understand the difference between "unlimited" and "unrestricted " and "guaranteed ". Last year they were limited to 2 per year , this year they are NOT limited to 2 per year . Although there are restrictions and entry isn't guaranteed and entry can be refused for certain things , but entry will not be refused for going 3 times -
