Thailand's narcotics police raided a depot in the Nong Seua district of Pathum Thani north of Bangkok where they found 8 million Ya Ba (methamphetamine mixed with caffeine) pills.

Two men and one woman from Phuket were arrested along with three men and one woman from Singburi.

Police think they are part of a gang associated with fugitive drug kingpin "Long Sae-lee" who has fled a warrant and is abroad in a neighboring country.

Daily News reported that the arrested people either said nothing or claimed they were paid 10,000 to 20,000 baht to move the drugs, a notion dismissed as nonsense by the police.

Four vehicles and ten phones were also seized.

The drugs had come from the north and were being stored before going south.
