Popular Post khunPer Posted April 5, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 5, 2021 Good idea to use retired, and other, foreigners to teach the government staff some English. However, it's almost impossible for a retired to volunteer for almost anything without complicated paperwork and/or work permit – perhaps I should begin to drink, before I'm driving...???? 5 1 15

Popular Post mikebike Posted April 5, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 5, 2021 Surelynot, they broke a law. Yes there is the potential for ANYONE behind the wheel to kill someone, and nobody is denying that d-ds can kill, but the peeps sent to teach English are not killers, they are traffic-law violators... Is this somehow personal for you? 4 1 1

Popular Post ozimoron Posted April 5, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 5, 2021 This is a good idea since it forces offenders to give something back to society. A better idea would be to make them volunteer in some form of unpleasant community service since that would be a deterrent to repeat offending. 3

Popular Post 1Gringo Posted April 5, 2021 Popular Post Posted April 5, 2021 if they are British, this would be a huge mistake mostly because the Brits no longer have a grammar. for instance, drink is a noun or a verb. it is NEVER an adjective. 3 1 2 2
ETatBKK Posted April 5, 2021 Posted April 5, 2021 perhaps they should be more specific and learn a pragmatic language, before the tourists come back ! oh, Chinese, be better watch out ! 1

Is this somehow personal for you? They broke a serious traffic law, and as such should be deported in my view,. They, we, I, are guests in Thailand and need to obey the laws. Let those caught without seat belts, crash helmets, road tax and the like remain in Thailand and let THEM do the teaching! Some 30 years ago in Pattaya a foreigner was seen swinging a cat around by the tail. He was apprehended and hit by another foreigner. Guess who was deported? The cat swinger is still here!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 1 2 2 1
