Haven't been to Khun Thep for a while, heading up for a 4 day food-bender, Elite have laid on the shover service to the Kempinski and from Kempinski back to the airport, but no one seems to know if we're meant to do anything because of these recent covid outbreaks in the heart of the city.

Am i as a mere pleb on a food quest, Am i meant to do anything when i travel from HKT to Bangkok, and likewise from Bangkok to HKT?

Apps? Forms? Permissions? or anything like that?

Oh, HKT is Phuket is it ? Who would've guessed, not me that's for sure ????

HKT is the designated Phuket Airport symbol.

Quote

Phuket International Airport (Thai: ท่าอากาศยานภูเก็ต) (IATA: HKT, ICAO: VTSP) is an international airport serving the Phuket Province of Thailand. It is in the north of Phuket Island, 32 kilometres (20 mi) from the centre of Phuket City.

Flying from HKT, is shorter than "flying from Phuket"....

Same as

HKT - BKK -HKT is shorter than Phuket - Bangkok - Phuket.

Yup !!

Rule number one in the Pretentious Dictionary is :

When trying to impress always get your facts in order first.

I think he means Krung Thep ????

Thai Elite don’t put their cars on for domestic arrivals / departures (as part of the Thai Elite benefits)... but at least you managed to name drop both Thai Elite and the Kempinski !

The shover BTW is an AOT taxi....

Do you have anything valid to add, i.e an answer to my question?

People who are frequent flyers/travelers use the airport codes. It is easier and faster.

I use the airport codes and so do many of the people I work with.

I can understand that, I googled and got the answer thank you, however, the general rule of thumb is that you are using initials, acronyms that people may not be familiar with then the 1st use should also be typed in full.

Do not assume everyone ( in this case ) has flown into Phuket & knows the airline code ????
