Ox Bile / Bile Salts - Any Ideas?

Featured Replies

This is an odd question but does anyone have an idea where to buy Ox Bile / Bile Salts in Bangkok. (Or Thailand for that matter).

I looked on Lazada and Shopee and I could only find a couple of crazy priced listings.

It does imply that for whatever reason this product might be difficult to get past customs. Quite why (like usual) doesn't make any sense.

Is Buffalo bile / bile salts a thing?

Any/all help is greatly appreciated.

iHerb has them.  I understand that there's usually no problem importing their products.

Have you ever bought anything from iHerb and had it shipped to Thailand, Oxx?

(I'm nervous as have had issues with Thai customs in the past).

My partner does, a couple of times a month or more.  Never had any problem.  If you search you'll find several other reports of "no problem" on this forum.  I do think you need to keep the value of an individual order below a certain value.  As I said, search and you should find more about that.

Thanks, Oxx!

I also order items from I-Herb every 2 or 3 months.  I make it a point to keep orders under $80 US and have never been charged duty.  I always select the cheapest shipping method.

Pre-covid: delivery to Bangkok in 10-14 days.  Currently hit or miss., sometimes 2 weeks, sometimes close to a month.
