Yuthasak Supasorn, governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, said the third wave of COVID-19 blocked third-phase We Travel Together and Tour Tiew Thai programs from beginning early next month as earlier scheduled. He said officials finally concluded that the third phase of the We Travel Together program would start to receive reservations on May 17. But do they foresee that the people will be a no show, especially after many lost money on bookings as a lot of hotels wouldn't provide refunds, once bitten twice shy as the saying goes.
