Even when the governments of western nations were informed about the virusk and the dangers it posed, they were mostly very slow to act. Younger people in UK and Germany who had got a first AstraZeneca jab before AstraZeneca became for over 60s only later got a 2nd jab of Pfizer/Biontech.
