Pfizer Confirms No Import yet of COVID-19 Vaccine into Thailand

BANGKOK (NNT) - Pfizer has confirmed on Wednesday that its vaccine had not yet been imported into Thailand, adding that it is still in talks with Thailand’s Public Health Ministry over a deal to purchase the vaccine.

PHUKET: Phuket officials are conjuring whether to continue the rapid antigen test for people arriving in Phuket at all from May 15, now that it has been announced that it would no longer be free for Thais from that date on.

Phuket adds Krabi, Trang to ‘red zone’ entry requirements

PHUKET: Phuket officials have added Ranong, Krabi, Trang and Phatthalung to the list of ‘red zone’ provinces for which people arriving from must comply with the requirement to prove that they are fully vaccinated or have tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours of arriving, or else face a rapid antigen test as an initial step to determine whether or not they are infected.

Major COVID-19 Clusters Are Found in 3 Bangkok Communities

At 1.2% Thailand ranks sixth in ASEAN for population inoculation
