In the UK we have had five months of irksome restrictions, and 30 million plus people have been vaccinated, but almost every day some "expert" pops up with a doomsday scenario relating to the latest variant and the dire consequences of relaxing even to the slightest degree. It seems regardless of how the actual numbers change 'project fear' is destined to rule our lives.
