Would like to limit trips to banks - has anyone used CW Bangkok Bank branch at Bangkok Immigration for proof of income paperwork?  Have updated passbook showing monthly transfers for last year all marked as foreign source so perhaps bank statement for year not required?  What exactly is required?  Can they provide same day?  Thanks for any help.  If they can do believe much better choice than trying to explain to my local branch.  

I don't think so - I've never tried, so this guess is based on reports here. (People can get the 800k letter day of at CW.)

 

I usually get my documents a day or two before I plan to make my extension, at my branch:

 

(this requires two visits for the FTT/CAR letter, request and pick-up the next day, some branches will do this same day, esp BBL HQ in Silom, the account ownership letter is done while you wait ~ 15 min)

 

- CAR Summary Cover Letter details all 12 QFTs

- Account owenrship Letter

 

Then day of get a Passbook BF at CW (Bangkok Bank kiosk), then copy that page to add to my passbook copies.

 

My working list of bank documents to support an ext stay/ret-Inc,  assembled based on first-hand reports at CW here and on FB, worked fine for me last year....

 

Bank ownership letter day of/up to 7 days before OK – ACTIVITY, account, name, amount
Bank letter: Summary of twelve (12) QFTs
FTT/CARs: Twelve (12) months
Bank book copies old and current book
Original bankbooks
Update bankbook day of with B/F - copy

 

 

 

All documents were retained by the IO, no additional documents were requested (though many were in hand, specifically to support the "source" of the funds).
