PHUKET: Phuket Governor Narong Woonciew has joined the call for people to not panic over officials issuing a “temporary suspension” of assigning vaccination appointments for those registered as living outside Phuket.

Communities in Bangkok’s Laksi area inoculated as 1,284 workers there have COVID-19

People in seven communities near construction sites in Bangkok’s Laksi district are being inoculated against COVID-19, as more infections have been found at Italian-Thai Development worker housing, bringing total infected construction workers in the area to 1,284.

Thailand’s Food and Drug administration (FDA) revealed today (Tuesday) that all the necessary documents to seek approval for China’s state-owned Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine have been submitted, with a decision expected soon.

Pattaya Tourist Police arrest suspect allegedly involved in visa scam with more than ten foreign victims

The Tourist Police Station 4 Command Center and the Pattaya Tourist Police have arrested a Thai man in Chiang Mai this week. He was allegedly involved in running a visa scam and operated a visa service in Pattaya that had more than 10 foreign victims.

More AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine will be delivered next month

Thailand sees highest unemployment rate in 12 years in first quarter 2021

Commerce Ministry will promote e-commerce exports

Cabinet approves two-month extension of emergency decree

Bangkok launches vaccine appointment website

BANGKOK (NNT) - Residents of Bangkok will be able to make appointments for their COVID-19 jabs starting this Thursday on an online portal, or at convenience stores. The campaign run by Bangkok City Hall gives residents more access to the vaccines, in addition to the government’s main inoculation program.

All those in Phuket’s tourism sector will be vaccinated by July 1
