Featured Replies

A tin roof is designed to support itself, loading it up with a lot of additional weight will likely not end well.

Do not use palm leaf for your roof, if laid directly on the existing roof the lack of circulating will rot the stuff and make it useless in just one season.

Have you considered car underseal?

It's pretty easy to slap on and has good soundproofing qualities.

Car Underseal :-

Coupe rust-proof coupe is a color made of APC B2minus. Select one of the Mix in large quantities, mix well and use. Use a paintbrush or body shot nozzle only. It has rust-proof properties and reduces noise that hits the under the car. They can also use roofing seals or zinc filling tiles instead of flintcoats because they are not greasy when heated by sunlight.

Hi, I ended up using chipboard for a ceiling(the wife's outside kitchen enclosure ,4 x 7 meter  ) . It was her choice ! I suppose it will deaden  the sound of the  pelting rain by 10 percent 555.

She was to cheap to put insulation in between the chipboard and roof!
