Wedding ring resizing.

Featured Replies

Since I got married several years ago, I have lost about 30 kilos. As such, my wedding ring doesn't fit any more, so am wearing it on my index finger. Is it possible to have it resized?

It has slipped off my finger a few times.

It's a Thai gold ring, so is 23 karat.

Sell it back (price is way up from when you bought it) and get a new one,far easier.

I don't want to have less gold, it's a half baht, I just want to have it reshaped to be smaller. Also, there's a sentimental attachment to my ring ,I don't want a new one. Is that possible?

You woukdnt have less Gold, same weight.

But that is irrelevant anyway as you have sentimental reasons.

Many of the Gold shops have a guy who does repairs etc so may be they can do it on siite or send it somewhere for you.

Ask at your local Gold shop. If you state "where" you are someone may have local knowledge.

Location? I have someone who does that kind of thing for me.

Yes or you can swap it for a similar ring in your size in one of the numerous gold shops.
