snoop1130
The President of the Professional Tour Guides Association of Thailand, Wirote Sitaprasertnan, submitted a letter to Deputy Public Health Minister Sathit Pitutacha, today (Wednesday). The letter requests an allocation of 1,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine specifically for licensed tour guides in Bangkok, to prepare for the country’s reopening to foreign tourists. Mr. Wirote explained that the association had been contacted by the Disease Control Department about vaccination of tour guides, but there has been no clarity on the issue, so a letter was needed to reiterate their request. Many tour guides have been hit hard by the pandemic, with many having to take other jobs instead. So, Mr. Wirote also wants the Public Health Ministry to pay more attention to tour guides, who play an important role in the Thai tourism industry. Shuya
Until the first tourists finally come back one day they will need more than one refresher booster
Popular Post Petey11
These demands from different sectors getting ridiculous now. Just do it by health workers first to protect your medical capacity, then age and co-morbidities to reduce the strain on your medical system.
ikke1959
Everybody will be vaccinated but every one want to be on the front row. for all stupid reasons. August is far away the tourists are even further away. The only way to do this properly is be patient till the incompetent Government has sufficient vaccines and set up a real good schedule. Let everybody come to get a jab by year of birth or so... Old first, and so younger and younger.. till the year of birth 2009. Now boxers, guides, tourists destinations with no tourists, and more want to be the first..
impulse
Based on the TVF reactions to availability for foreigners, they can get 'em from Phuket. And have over 28,000 doses to spare.

Get on with the general population and lower infection numbers generally. Edited June 3, 2021 by jacko45k

mikecha
if they start letting in the people who can prove they are vaxinated maybe that will bring a few dollars into the pot of course without 15 days quarantine\ even if u had to do a covid test when arriving and wait a couple of hours i am shure that it would make life more easier for the expats that come and go and also for maybe some brave tourists
