I've travelled loads around the world so not bothered too much about travelling but you need to find interests, preferably not sitting in bars every day. There's lots to do here but many only know about the bars, etc. Very good countryside outside of Pattaya, i play golf and cycle in the many group rides, definitely keeps you fit and healthy

Compare it to a place say in NW Wales or Burnley. There is a beach for one, and a better climate. A quality of life far more accessible for less. It is not a place to be in ill health (is anywhere), without finances.... I really only see medical services to go back to in the UK.

No, it's not 'just a bunch of bars and restaurants'. But, perhaps that's all you ever go to and don't get out and check out anything else.
