Sinopharm jabs to be available in two weeks, registration starts Monday

The first batch of China’s Sinopharm vaccine of one million doses will arrive in Thailand next Sunday (June 20th), according to Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA). Online registration will open next Monday (June 14th) and inoculations are expected to begin in two weeks on June 25th.

Banks told by central bank to extend debt repayment for SMEs until year end

The Bank of Thailand has instructed commercial banks to extend, until the end of the year, debt repayment periods for small and medium-sized enterprises, to help them cope with the impacts from the third wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Thailand books 20 million doses of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccines

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand has signed a purchase order for 20 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine develop by Pfizer and BioNTech to be delivered before the end of this year, its health minister said.

Social Security Office’s 45 vaccination sites in Bangkok temporarily closed

The Social Security Office has suspended vaccination services at 45 centres in Bangkok, from today (Friday) until June 27th, after four days in operation, for improvements of services.
