Can I ship large plastic tubs with lids by Thai Post?

Featured Replies

These are the large plastic ones sold in Tesco and Big C, with lids that can be soft locked down by catches on the handles.

Any information is appreciated.

You can...but you had better wrap them in shipping plastic to prevent them from opening and spilling their contents. Buy a roll and wrap them up.

Post Office will, ship most things, get themto use the banding machine to secure each box.

Go talk with your local office.

Often they would insist on tying their twine rope on the package, if not wrapping them in paper before, for a fee of course,

Yes. Ask at the counter where they sell cardboard boxes.  What you want is "Logispost".  They will take care of securing the bins shut.

remember that they may well arrive broken as most thai postal workers do not take care, I have watched them sorting pckages at our local post office, they throw the packages several metres to land on a pile for the same area or if big 2 will throw it and let it drop, no care at all, have received several broken items over the years
