Bredbury Blue Posted June 25, 2021 Share Posted June 25, 2021 The away goals rule will be removed from all UEFA club competitions from the 21/22 season. Never liked, happy with this change. If the goals tally are tied at final whistle in the 2nd tie, it goes to extra time and penalties if necessary. Far more exciting for tv. City were knocked out on away goals twice in the CL - to Monaco in 16/17, and Spurs in 18/19. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
