canned food

Featured Replies

Looking for suppliers of canned food that send nationwide (can also be jars/glass or dried. Everything that does'nt need refrigeration) for private use here in Thailand. Allready found some, but the variety is very limited. Any idea is appreciated

Thanks in advance

Try BritiShop.com

that is where I have got mine save me going Big 'C' .

Makro does deliveries.

Villa Market

Lazada have over 100 pages in their "canned food" selection;

Also I bet many small wester food stores would be willing to ship in-country like Siamburi's here in Pattaya

also interested, i wonder why poor farmers do not try to put their veggies in cans to do pickles and sell them ?!

in my country all farmers do it ! but of course, they are able to think out of the box there...

The Danish Tulip Food Company (now called "Danish Crown Foods") do several canned products which can be bought in many Thai supermarkets.

My favourite is their tinned liver pate.

Oh my God, your farmers are the best!

Thai farmers  have canned fermented pickled mixed vegetables. Not sure why your western farmers don't do that, don't ferment their veggies - can't think outside the box, obviously!  Or maybe different cultures have different tastes perhaps??

Thai farmers DO can their veggies.  They do canned pickled mustard greens, canned water chestnuts, canned baby corn, canned mushrooms, canned bean sprouts, canned bamboo, lots of others.

The ignorance and arrogance on this forum is incredible.  Actually bragging your farmers are better, how pathetic.
