If I may say so an asinine critique. If you are of the opinion 1500 baht per three months from Thai government for food is reasonable for unemployed Thais due to Covid restrictions, I can only think you have zero understanding of the Thai economy. bkk6060
Many "massage" places still open in and around Soi Honey, Chiyapoon and Buakhao. No secret just drive past. Girls crowded together at the front customers coming in and out. Whatever just saying, no one seems to care about this. How can they stop people jogging on the beach or having a swim? Surely that's not the intention.

The girls are typically young, fit and healthy and without any government support their risk comes from not having an income rather than corona. Conversely, their customers are typically in the bracket that are high risk from corona but do not have to worry not having an income. What we see here is the delicate balancing act between risk and reward at play from both sides. 1
