Popular Post webfact
Picture: Daily News Embattled Thai prime minister Prayuth Chan-ocha spoke to the press yesterday about the Covid-19 crisis facing the country. He spoke of difficulties people were facing accessing the care they needed. Initial telephone calls were not in time and everyone needed to pull together to help. People needed to go to the right places and seek help. He said that he didn't want to see anyone forced to die at home. He attempted to reassure the public that there would be plenty of vaccine in August, reported Daily News. There will be all kinds of vaccine to choose from. And he said that Pfizer was not being kept back for some people. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-07-30 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 4

Even if those vaccines are there in august then still it will take time to administer and then it takes time to start to work. So before that has any effect more people will die at home. He should take responsibility and resign, he took control he failed. Time to move on. Not that it will happen but its amazing how thick headed he is. (not an uncommon trait in thai MP's though) From their playbook, deny deny and when you can't deny anymore shift the blame act like you did your best and whatever you do make sure you dont get investigated when out of power because then you can't meddle and sabotage the investigations. 9

Oh, May 25rd in the News section of this forum:"Plenty of vaccine of any brand for everyone – even third dose, says Anutin" And what has the last two months brought the Thai people (let's not even talk about the expat farangs at the end of the line and who are considered non-entities)? Shortages, registration cancellations, vaccination cancellations, placing commercial interests before the interests of 'at risk' community. The list goes on. Why bother. What will be done? In another few months the people who created this mess will be giving each other medals.

You should go to a pre-admission centre or at least contact field hospitals. There are many of them now,” Gen Prayut said during the interview. “District offices are fine too. Sometimes, making calls only doesn’t work because the lines are busy – inaccessible. So, a relative or someone should notify so that a team can be dispatched to provide care.” He added: “Everyone has to help each other. At least, notify fast. If nobody comes, notify military units, notify police stations – something like this – and they’ll be there.”

PM Prayut downplays severity of Thailand's COVID-19 situation, claims other countries have it worse BANGKOK: Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Thursday (Jul 29) downplayed the COVID-19 situation Thailand, while claiming that other nations are dealing with higher caseloads. In a special interview held at the Government House, he said: “If we contemplate the transmission in our country, it may seem shocking, given the daily fatalities. Popular Post spidermike007
You continue with your daily lies, and you are at a stage where nobody in this nation, other than some of the generals and cabinet ministers take you seriously anymore. You have undermined your own credibility time and time again, with bad information, fake news, broken promises, and terrible leadership. Do you even know what the definition of leadership is? True leaders really are in the service of their people. True leaders act with integrity and in doing so they establish trust. True leaders genuinely value their people and in doing so they create loyalty. True leaders are in the business of assisting people to realize their full potential, and in doing so they inspire excellence. Nobody can demand respect, loyalty or trust, like you constantly do. These things have to be earned. There are no short cuts, no way to cheat the process. Great leaders have integrity and truly value their people. And you do not inspire confidence, as you have never had any follow up in your weak game, you are highly insincere, and grossly incompetent and under qualified for the job. One would think after 7 plus years you have had time to learn. That does not appear to be the case. Prayuth, you are a terrible leader. So, if you were a man of integrity, the man you led the nation to believe you were, when you seized power 7 long years ago, you would now say: I know, I know, I know. I should have reacted when the outbreak happened back in December, and done the right thing by shutting down that area in Samut. I know. I should have taken the vaccine thing more seriously. I know, I should have had a more qualified health minister. I know, my pathological fear of the optics of a lockdown are causing many more cases than need be. And I know, I should have been more diligent with the borders, I should have cracked down on corrupt immigration officials, and kept my promise to fight corruption, and I should have and could have done better. Do you want me to resign now? I know what is what you are thinking. I probably should. It sure would be the right thing to do. But, doing the right thing would be so alien for me. I am not sure I even know how to do that. Remember when Dr. Tavida said that any country in this intense situation needs a leader that not only comes out strong but can also create confidence. A leader that can show empathy, and make sense of what is going on. Well, it is obvious we do not have that leader. Not even close. Not even a faint shadow of what the nation needs. In terms of showing empathy, is that something we have ever seen from this man? Any attempt rings hollow, as we have already seen that he is as out of touch as them come. A true Ivory tower sort of guy. And in terms of making sense of what is going on, you need policy, competent ministers with experience in the fields their ministries are in charge of, and at least a tiny amount of vision and planning. Prayuth lacks every pre-requisite. So do most of his ministers. Especially Anutin and Pipat. Likely the two least qualified and least effective of the lot. One would think during a national emergency, a skilled and talented tourism and health minister would be considered important. Popular Post welshguy
Every day that passes, just goes to prove how much of a stupid man this guy actually is. The big problem is, by endorsing his stupidity with each passing day? More and more Thais are facing death, hunger, despair, anxiety and god knows what else. My heart goes out to them. What can they do? EVEN IF! By some divine miracle, these vaccines of choice, DO arrive next month? What do they do until then? No proper lockdowns, hardly any financial help to the average Thai person? What to they eat? How do they pay their rents etc etc etc? THEN these vaccines of choice DO actually arrive (his words not mine) what then? Does this deranged man, actually think, its over? That the country will be saved as soon as some people are given one vaccine? What happens until the people have had 2 doses? (yes I know some vaccines are one dose.......the majority aren't). Does this goon really think....... OK As soon as they are given one shot...everything is fine? Apart from the logistics of giving out these vaccines (something which history tells us, the Thais don't do well)..the vaccines wont start working as soon as they are injected? etc etc? What are they meant to do TODAY? They need to survive day to day....not wait for some mythical "vaccine of choice" next month. Looks like he is blaming the people already. For a country which is meant to have such a big culture of "face", doesn't this man and his goons see what they are doing? Surely to god, they cant honestly believe that what they are/aren't doing and saying isn't seen by people outside of their own country...let alone by the poor souls in their own country????? The mind boggles. at their stupidity and greed. I like to come on here, to have a big belly laugh, reading about the inane statement/figures etc produced by T.A.T. That is really infantile and so funny. What the government is doing, (or rather what they ARENT doing)..is nothing short of criminal. This isnt funny this is crazy...why the hell cant they see what they are doing???????? God help the ordinary folk of Thailand.
